What do I do in Handler when the squat rack or bench is taken?
Mark it Busy right now. At a saved location, Handler swaps exercises you haven't started for ones with the same movement pattern. It can't see the gym floor, so it goes on what you mark.

Step by step
- In your workout, open the exercise's options and tap Equipment missing. It reads “Equipment missing at” your gym's name, because busy kit is saved to a named location.
- If the exercise uses more than one piece of kit, pick the one that's taken.
- Choose Busy right now. The other two choices are Not at this location and Broken right now.
- Read the summary. Handler says how many untouched exercises it replaced. If nothing compatible fits, it says so and leaves the exercise as it was.
Already started the exercise?
- Marking equipment busy leaves exercises you've started alone.
- For a half-done exercise, choose Move Remaining Sets. The unfinished working sets move to another movement and the completed ones stay.
- Replacing a started exercise by hand asks first: Keep Current Exercise or Replace & Reset. Replace & Reset removes that exercise's logged sets from the workout.
- Rather wait for the rack? Ask Coach to move the exercise to the end of the workout.
How it picks, and for how long
Handler picks from the equipment you marked available at that location: same movement pattern first, then the same main muscles and a similar difficulty. Busy right now and Broken right now apply to the current workout for up to four hours. Not at this location stays until you change it. If the replacement is taken too, mark that as well.
Squat day with the rack taken: a goblet squat or a leg press is the usual swap. Don't copy your barbell number onto the dumbbell or the sled. Start lighter and find the weight on the first set.
