What doesn't Handler do?
Handler has no Apple Watch app yet, its offline logging hasn't been independently tested, it can't see which equipment is free, and it doesn't diagnose pain or give medical advice.

No Apple Watch app yet
A Watch companion is in development, not shipped. Log your sets on your phone.
Offline logging hasn't been tested
Offline logging hasn't been independently tested; coach chat and calls need a connection. Don't pick Handler for a no-signal basement gym on the assumption that it works offline.
It can't see the gym floor
Handler doesn't know which rack, bench or cable is free. You mark equipment busy, and it swaps from what you marked available. It can't promise the swap is free either.
It doesn't diagnose pain
If something feels off mid-workout, tell Handler where and how it feels. It can keep you going carefully, lower the remaining targets, or swap the exercise. The options read Continue carefully and monitor it, Reduce the remaining target, and Stop this exercise for today.
That's training guidance, not medical care. Sharp, severe or lasting symptoms need a qualified professional. The Savage coach style drops the roasting when you report pain.
Other limits
- Your coach can't watch your form. It works from what you log and what you tell it.
- Strength Rank is a personal score from your logged sets. It isn't a percentile, a leaderboard or a strength test, and early ranks are provisional.
- Quick Gym comes in 7, 10 or 15 minutes only.
- There's no free version. Handler Pro is required after onboarding.
